Last Saturday afternoon Emily and I took Trent and Grant to Disney On Ice at Van Andel Arena. What an absolute blast! The boys had a great time (I've never seen Grant sit so still in his entire life!), and Emily and I really enjoyed ourselves as well! It was the 100 year celebration of Disney, and many of the favorite characters of all time were represented - Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Aladdin, Simba, Nemo, Cinderella, Pinnochio, Stitch, Beauty and the Beast, Snow White, the Incredibles, Toy Story, and the list could go on. Here are a few pictures from the afternoon:
The Disney "romances" - Cinderella, Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, Pochahantas, Aladdin, Little Mermaid

Grant and Trent "smiling" for the camera (talk about pathetically fake smiles!)

The "Small World" program. I had to chuckle when this started, because Eric told me that when he was little and his family went to Disney, the Small World ride broke down, and they got stuck in it listening to the theme song play over and over and over. Pure torture!

Here's a short video clip from the finale:
Sunday morning Grant decided it was time he start to read the comics. So, he asked for the newspaper while we were eating breakfast. Too funny. At least he decided he wanted to read the paper while eating breakfast rather than when he was sitting on the toilet!
