No real theme to this post - just wanted to share some pictures from what's been happening these past few days.

Now that Brooke is on the move, the beach has become a bit more difficult! We tried to contain her in the turtle pool. (Grant's sucking on a sucker if you couldn't figure it out :)).

G and Reese riding their bikes. Don't you just love Reese's bike - a baby seat with her baby in it AND the baby has a helmet! Too cute!

Brielle and Brooke

Brooke woke up too early from her afternoon nap on Sat. so Eric tried rocking her back to sleep. He was successful on two fronts!

Brooke must just have that touch to be able to lull adults to sleep! Here she is with Grandpa in the trailer at Holland State Park

And......while it looks like my daughter is destined to be a gymnast with her stellar flexibility (definitely doesn't get it from mommy - I could barely reach the box on sit and reach in P.E. class), she is multi-talented in that she can not only do the splits but also fall asleep at the same time! (Eric took this pic. Sunday afternoon. She fought her afternoon nap that day, so Eric watched her in the living room while I caught some shut eye. Tiredness finally won over and she slept like this for 15 minutes before Eric transferred her to her crib. Too funny!)
Grant got a slip-n-slide from Grandpa and Grandma P. for his birthday and he finally got the hang of it (sort of) recently. In his past attempts he would run to the end and sit down in the pool of water. Now, he at leasts goes on his stomach for part of the time. Love it!
Lastly...so, I thought my daughter would ease into this whole crawling thing. Nope! A week and a half ago she was just barely starting to crawl. Now - crawling all over the place and pulling herself to a standing position around things. Ahhhhhh!!! I'm not ready for this yet!
