Playdates, playdates, and more playdates!

This past week has been full of get-togethers with friends. Last Thursday, Marcy, Kristi, and Heather brought their kids over to our house for lunch and playing out in the yard. It's been a while since we've gotten together so it was nice to catch up again (although, let's be real - who can really sit and catch up when there are four 1 1/2 to two year olds running around and two infants!). It's more like talk, chase a kid, talk, go get out another toy, talk, feed a kid. Oh well! We still had a fantastic time!

"Oh, how I long to be swinging as high as the lovely lady next to me."
This picture just kills me. Isaac (Ike) is working on a dirty diaper. By covering his eyes, he doesn't think anyone else can see him. Hilarious!
Sun bathing beauties (with their SPF 60 sunscreen on!).

Chad and Kathi were home from Pennsylvania for the weekend, as Chad's brother got married. So, we got to spend a little bit of time with them on Friday. Bless Chad's heart, he was willing to don a bathing suit and run through the sprinkler with Grant. Thanks Chad!

On your mark, get set, go!

On Friday night, we went to my cousin Lindsay and her husband Eric's house. They have a daughter, Tori, who is 1. Lindsay's sister Val also joined us. We had dinner, Tori and Grant swam in the pool and played. We had a very enjoyable evening.

Yesterday our "playgroup" got together at Helder Park. The group consists of Christie (and Jordyn), Nicki (and Miya and Jayden), Sarah (and Alaina), Marcy (and Reese), and myself and Grant. If you haven't noticed, Grant is the only boy! He shouldn't have any problems finding a date when that time comes (a long, long time from now!).We try to get together once every 1-2 months throughout the year, and I really enjoy hanging out with these ladies! It was actually a very relaxing time. We ate lunch and the kids played on their own much of the time. The kids all get along so well.

The kids loved jumping on the merry-go-round as much as they liked spinning around.

Where is summer going?????

Those are some awfully gorgeous babies! I can't wait to meet Mr. Grant in person (and add another "option" to his long list with our little Abbie)...

Hey Grant:

I hope you aren't flirting with too many other girls! I want a chance too! Can't wait to see you at football games. I hear your dad might be coaching too. That would be cool except he isn't coaching for the right team!!! Talk to you soon.
