Hi - it's me Grant! My mommy tells me that I've been "tagged" by my Aunt Kathi. So, naturally, as any almost two year old would do, I ran around the house looking for her thinking I was "it!" I'm just not up on this blogging lingo yet! Anyway...here are five tidbits of information about yours truly:
1. I LOVE to eat. I can out eat my mommy any day. No lie. For instance - here's my menu for lunch today - string cheese, bowl of grapes, ham sandwich, chips with salsa, and a cup of jello. I can pack away three pieces of pizza, easily, and even then, my parents have to pry me away from the table. I have this fabulous talent of being able to make my belly button transform from being a "tweenie" to an "outie" in a matter of a meal. I must have fantastic metabolism, because while I do tip the scales on the higher end of the weight charts (60th percentile), those that watch me eat are surprised I don't weigh more!
2. I have become very fluent at speaking. I do an excellent job speaking in sentences. However, there are a few letters that are currently giving me a bit of trouble. I am not very good at saying my Gs. Thus, when asked my name, I am not Grant, but Dant (and the last name is Poowewwa, by the way!). I also struggle with my Fs. This became quite apparent one day last week when I was in the dressing room with my mommy at Target. She was trying to keep me entertained by asking me to point to my various body parts. I was on a roll - ears, eyes, neck, cheeks, chin, arms, knees, legs, toes, elbows, etc. She stopped asking, but I just kept going. However, she must have a dirty mind. I showed her my fingers and told her what they were; however - my Fs very closely resemble Ps and the "inger" kind of slurs together and sounds like "eena". The "s" I've got down pat, and thus, she thought it sure sounded like I was naming the male anatomy (and was afraid others in the dressing room did too because she quickly changed the subject and had me start to recite my ABCs!)! If you don't believe me, you can ask my auntie about it - she has my "fingers" saved on her cell phone's voice mail!).
3. If you've read any of my mommy's earlier posts, you've probably already realized that I am obsessed with tractors. Red, green, yellow, big, medium size, or small it doesn't matter - as long as it's a tractor and someone lets me ride it.
4. My house is literally Toys R Us. I have so many great toys. First off, my great grandma is the master flea market shopper and comes away with killer deals on great toys. Honestly - 80% of the toys in my house have been given to me by her. Thanks great grandma! Second, my mommy likes to garage sale in the spring and unfortunately drags me along with her. She gets frustrated when all I want to do is get out of my stroller, but can you blame me! When we roll up to a house that has all kinds of toys, I am no different from other kids and have this innate drive to try them all out (especially the basketballs!).
5. All my aunts, uncles, and cousins live out of state. My Aunt Kathi and Uncle Chad live in Pennsylvania (and they've brainwashed me into reciting the Penn State chant - "We are, Penn State" over and over again). My Uncle Brian lives in Iowa, and so do my Uncle Steve, Aunt Joy, and cousins Tim, Luke, and Aaron (thankfully, they've been spared from all the flooding and tornadoes). I miss them all so very much and cannot wait to see them all in a few short weeks when they come to Michigan!
Well...there's five facts about me! Hmmmm...I don't have a ton of buddies out there in the blogging world yet, but if Miya Westra, Abbie Henson, and Morgan VanderZwaag are reading - I tag you! Just don't come chasing me down the next time I see you thinking you're "it!"

Hi Grant!
Wow, I didn't know you loved to eat...I could never tell. We'll have to do ice cream when Uncle Chad and I are back in town. We miss you lots & can't wait to see you!! Reserve a spot for me so I can play with you at the beach! (I noticed some pretty good looking chickies sitting next to you at the beach...hopefully there's room for me!)
Love ya!
Hey Grant!
Thanks for tagging me. I had a lot of fun writing about myself! I miss seeing you! Maybe I'll see you at a football game. Hope you are having a good summer with your Mommy & Daddy!!
Morgan
