It is with great sadness, yet joy in eternal life, that we mourn and celebrate my Grandpa Grotenhuis' entrance through the pearly gates of Heaven this morning. While our eyes are filled with tears and our hearts heavy in grief, we find comfort in knowing that our dear Grandpa is singing with the angels. What a man of faith! He loved God with everything he had. We will so dearly miss his presence, his smile, his devotion to his family, and his passionate prayers, but we praise the Lord for the many years he blessed our family. So after 85 years on earth, and 63 years of faithful devotion to my wonderful Grandma, we do not say "goodbye," rather we say "see you later." Grandpa, you will be forever loved!

Oh Kimmy, I can read in your words, and see in the pictures, your love for your Grandpa. I'm sorry to hear of his passing, but thankful for the comfort you're finding in his salvation. Please tell your parent's that we're lifting them up too!
