Happy Retirement Mom P and Family Pictures - Attempt #1

Eric's mom recently retired from Zeeland Hospital after faithfully serving patients for many years as a unit clerk. Congratulations Mom! Your friendly and caring personality will sure be missed! We wish you many happy years spending time with Dad, traveling, volunteering, and of course, hanging out with your grandkids! :) We enjoyed a nice open house in her honor at the hospital.

In other news...our first attempt at a family picture this summer was a HUGE flop. A bad combination of heat, tiredness, hunger, and not feeling 100% created a climate that bred grumpiness!! It was terrible - although my sister got quite the kick out of it as she kept snapping away pictures for me (must have been her way of rubbing it in, as her family pictures turned out nice!). Grrrr.... Next up - attempt number two at the beach! I'll keep you posted. In the mean time, here is a play-by-play:
